The diagram view has extensive sanity checks in place in order to avoid adding invalid or reverse dependencies. Nonetheless, breaking the graph cannot be entirely avoided for large projects with many transitive relationships. Be sure that we are working hard on our algorithms in order to keep the diagram view clear and tidy even for a large number of dependencies. For the time being, here is how to resolve a broken project graph:
- On the diagram view, try to identify the tasks that became cluttered or vanished due to an invalid dependency
- Go back to the project screen and tap on these tasks. On the task sheet, tap on the dependency icon on the right side. Confirm to delete all dependencies of this task.
- Repeat the above steps for other tasks in the same list until you have untied the knot
