Does planimbAI Use Data Encryption?

planimbAI uses native state-of-the-art mechanisms to encrypt your data on device and in iCloud.

Data Encryption on Device #

The local database of planimbAI is stored in an encrypted format on disk and cannot be read from or written to while the device is locked or booting.¹

Data Encryption in iCloud #

planimbAI data synchronized across your devices via iCloud is end-to-end-encrypted. This means that data is encrypted on device using key material stored in your iCloud Keychain that is only accessible to you. The encrypted planimbAI data is uploaded to iCloud and decrypted locally on your devices only after downloading it from iCloud.²
